Mama Biz: Mermaid Treasures
I’m super excited to introduce Luci from Mermaid Treasures in this edition of the Mama Biz blog. Luci was the first person to join Mama Club and has been our biggest supporter from day 1 - I’m forever thankful to have this wonderful friend.
Luci is Mama to 2 gorgeous boys, Billy and Cooper and lives in Mt Duneed. Luci has recently launched Mermaid Treasures, creating beautiful bracelets inspired by coastal life. With the added bonus of personalised options available.

Personalised, meaningful, keepsakes.
Can you tell us about your journey to getting here:
Being creative I’ve always enjoyed arts and crafts so I decided to pick up another hobby that was fun and easy to do whilst being on maternity leave. A hobby that I could perform whilst taking care of my two young boys. Originally I began making bracelets for my friends and their kids and was quickly persuaded by a good friend that there was a market for these types of bracelets. This friend was great at giving me support towards the startup of my little business and it’s one that I’ve come to truly love and enjoy.
I’m looking forward to expanding my range of treasures so keep an eye out on my Instagram page.
How does a ‘normal’ day look for you?
Once getting my family organised for the day I’m usually one to get out of the house and do fun activities with my 2 and a half year old as my eldest is a ball of energy and definitely likes to keep me on my toes. When I’m not out and about or visiting friends you’ll find me keeping up to date with bracelet orders that are made through my Instagram page.
I’m able to do these when my 3 month old is asleep or happily chatting away with his older brother. I usually get orders out as quick as I can as I want my customers to receive their beautiful treasures so they can enjoy wearing them.
What’s your favourite thing to do with your little ones?
As mentioned previously I am always out and about in the community or at my local beach or park usually getting my daily exercise trying to keep up with Billy, my eldest. At the moment we’ve been loving going to the beach and splashing about in the ocean. I feel deeply connected to the ocean and in some ways, I daydream about what it would be like to live amongst our amazing marine life here on the surf coast. Cue the brand name Mermaid Treasures.
